VVellinMaths Acceleration Program
Term 4 2026 intake · Highett, Bayside

Your child gets better at maths in six months. If not, you get your money back.

A six-month maths program for Years 3 to 10. We start with a short test to find your child's exact level. We agree on a target and write it down. Then we work towards it with one small class each week and short practice at home. If your child does the work and still doesn't reach the target, we refund the fees.

I don't believe in hoping maths "clicks". I believe in finding exactly which skills a child is missing, teaching them properly, and measuring until they're mastered. That's why this is a program with a target and a guarantee, not an hour of tutoring a week.

Who teaches

I teach every class myself

I'm Gabriel. I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and have tutored maths in Bayside for seven years. I also run Momentum Chess, a chess school for kids in Highett. Vellin brings the same approach to maths, with a target and a guarantee attached.

Why a program, not tutoring

Most tutoring gives you an hour a week. This is a program with a target and a result.

Tutoring has no starting test and no goal, so progress is just a feeling. This program has a starting level, a written target, and a record of every step.

How it works

Four steps over six months

01

Find their level

A free 30-minute assessment based on the Victorian Curriculum shows exactly where your child is.

02

Set their target

We agree on a six-month goal and put it in writing.

03

Follow their plan

One 90-minute class a week, plus short home practice chosen for your child.

04

Measure the result

Your child sits the test again. Hit the target, or the eligible fees are refunded.

Progress tracking

Starting levelCurrent levelSix-month target

Levels follow the Victorian Curriculum, which broadly tracks school year levels: a Year 5 child at 4.8 is a little behind, at 5.8 well ahead. The dashboard updates after every class and practice session.

The guarantee

Reach the target, or get your money back.

We measure everything, so we can put our fees behind the result. The four conditions keep it fair to families who do the work.

100%of the eligible fees refunded if the target isn't reached

Your child is covered if they

  1. Attend at least 90% of classes
  2. Do at least 90% of the home practice
  3. Sit the tests at the start, the middle and the end
  4. Take part properly in class

Meet all four and miss the target, and we refund the eligible fees. Full terms in writing before the program starts.
